How do I sell or transfer my SkyCaddie rangefinder ?

To sell or transfer ownership of a specific SkyCaddie® handheld or watch, you will first need to deactivate the device in order to detach your account information and membership from it.

 

To deactivate your SkyCaddie device:

 
  • Log into your SkyGolf Account.
  • Under "My Devices", find the particular device you wish to sell or transfer, and click on the "Sell / Transfer / Detach" link.
  • A confirmation page will ask you if you are sure you want to deactivate the selected device. If you are, click the "Deactivate" button.
  • You will notice that the SkyCaddie device is no longer displayed under "My Devices".
  • Before sending the SkyCaddie to its new owner, be sure to do a "Factory Reset" on the device to delete all of your personal data from the rangefinder. This will return the device to a "like new" state so that the new owner can register the SkyCaddie in their own name and account. The "Factory Reset" option is under the SkyCaddie's Settings menu. Please see your user documentation for more information.
 

Once the SkyCaddie is deactivated and has gone through a factory reset, you may sell or transfer it to someone else. The membership plan that was detached from that SkyCaddie may be applied to another SkyCaddie if it is still active. If you opt to keep the deactivated SkyCaddie, you may reactivate it at a later date.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Membership plans are non-transferrable. Therefore, your membership plan cannot be resold or transferred to SkyCaddies that are not registered under your account. The new owner must purchase a new membership plan in order to access course map downloads and manage the SkyCaddie.

How do I transfer my current Membership to my new SkyCaddie?

You bought a new SkyCaddie and it's asking you to select a membership...but you want to transfer your current membership!

How to Apply Existing Membership to your New SkyCaddie:

  • Log in at www.skygolf.com
  • Select ACTIVATE a Product from the top of webpage.
  • Enter ESN (Electronic Serial Number) of your SkyCaddie
  • Select the existing membership just below “Apply Existing Membership”
  • Then click Apply.

If your membership is attached to your old unit:

  • Click on My Devices after logging in
  • choose Deactivate/Sell/Transfer below the image of your device
  • deactivate the ESN.

The Access Code is located under Setting > Info > Access Code.

Alternatively, you may enter the Electronic Serial Number (ESN) from the barcode label on the back of the SkyCaddie® and on its packaging.

Register A Pre-Owned SkyCaddie
Congratulations on your pre-owned SkyCaddie! In order to register and activate your SkyCaddie, please follow the steps below.

1) CLICK HERE TO REGISTER YOUR SKYCADDIE

2) Select "Click Here to Begin".

3) You will be asked to provide your Access Code or ESN (Electronic Serial Number) showing on your SkyCaddie. For help locating your access code, please CLICK HERE

4) If your SkyCaddie is still registered to the original owner, you will receive a message to verify the account information. If the account information displayed is that of the previous owner, please contact SkyGolf customer support by click the chat link at the bottom of this page. If you do not receive this message, please continue to step 6.

5) Next, you will be asked to log in to your SkyGolf account. If you do not have a SkyGolf Account, you will need to create one.

6) The Membership options will be presented. You will need to select the membership plan that suits your golfing needs and select "Add to Cart" and continue through the checkout to the activation process.
